Despite what is being reported in the papers, radio and all 3 TV stations, I am being told by individuals connected to the school board that Mr. Baker was not permanently terminated from coaching, but was rather suspended from coaching for the remainder of the basketball season only. He still holds his regular position as a school monitor and might see a return to athletics in the future upon approval by the board.
