Flag Day

In 2020, there wasn't a Flag Day ceremony due to Covid. In 2021, it was a smaller event. This year, the celebration of Old Glory returns to its full glory. Heather Maedl-Pedini will be leading the event and as you know from her past ceremonies it's an incredibly patriotic and emotional ceremony. If you've never been to a Roy-Hart Flag Day celebration, make it a point to go this year.

Law enforcement coverage at schools

Roy-Hart Community Members,

As you may be aware, an elementary school in Uvalde, Texas became victim to another mass shooting, resulting in the senseless loss of life.  It was an act of violence and hate that is almost unimaginable to the kind and caring people of this world.

We understand our local community continues to mourn the loss from the recent shooting in Buffalo, and our counselors, social workers, and entire staff are always available should your children need additional support.

The District continues to work with local law enforcement who will provide additional coverage at our schools for the remainder of the school year.  Please remind your students and  children to always report any threatening comments (If you see something, say something).

Sincerely,

Dr. Hank Stopinski

Superintendent
