The owner of a State Street pizzeria told sheriff’s deputies Sunday that someone broke into the building overnight and stole the cash register from the counter.
Matthew M. Austin, the owner of Austin’s Pizza, said a back window was broken to gain entry and the register, which contained $3, was stolen. Window damage was $100 and the cost of the stolen register was $200.
