A Lockport man was thrown from his motorcycle Saturday afternoon and taken to the Erie County Medical Center by Mercy Flight with multiple injuries. Jeffrey S. Tschetter, 42, was traveling south on Quaker Road when he failed to negotiate a stop sign and turn at Slayton Settlement Road about 5 p.m., according to the Niagara County sheriff’s report. Tschetter hit a guardrail on Slayton Settlement and was ejected from the vehicle. He was not wearing a helmet and suffered head, neck and leg injuries. Tri-Town Ambulance and the Gasport Fire Co. responded.
