Nearly $9,000 worth of power tools were reported stolen from a garage in the 4400 block of Grace Avenue, Niagara County sheriff’s deputies said Monday. The 38-year-old victim said he rarely uses his power tools in the winter, but went out to the garage because he was going to help a friend do a construction job this week and found many of the tools missing from the detached garage. Entry appears to have been made by jimmying the lock, the man told deputies. Missing are a cordless drill, saws, a generator, diamond blades, tampers and various Snap-on tools.
