I heard on WLVL this morning that Maggie's Kitchen in Gasport is closing in the next week or so. WLVL also reported that Billy's Beef and the food truck will remain in operation.
Maggie's Kitchen opened in early March 2020, just days before the whole world changed. It has not been kind to them: pandemic restrictions, dramatically increased food costs, labor shortages. In a different "era" they would have flourished, especially with such good food and happy service.
My heart goes out to Billy & Mary Anne.
