The contests were conducted virtually this year because of the pandemic from the Orleans (OCTEC) and Niagara (NCTEC) Career and Technical Education Centers. The purpose of the competitions are to evaluate contestants’ knowledge and skills and to recognize outstanding students for excellence and professionalism.
SkillsUSA is a partnership of students, teachers and industry working together to ensure America has a skilled workforce. First place students will be moving on to the National SkillsUSA competition virtually at the end of June.
