Marilyn C. Rogenmoser, age 98, died June 23, 2019 in Orchard Manor Nursing Home following a long illness.
She was born February 13, 1921 in Wilson to Clare and Rena (Tripp) Coe and was a life-long resident of Western New York.
Marilyn was a 1938 graduate of Wilson High School, and a 1942 Graduate of Geneseo State Teachers College. She taught Elementary Education in Niagara Falls prior to raising her children and as her children got older she taught 1st Grade in the Royalton Hartland School District where she retired from in 1979. Marilyn enjoyed traveling and cooking and was a member of the Middleport United Methodist Church, a charter member of the Barge Canal Art Center, a member and former chairperson of the Medina Hospital Willow TWIG, the Library Association of Middleport and the Alpha Delta Epsilon Sorority.
Mrs. Rogenmoser was predeceased by her husband Barry and her sister Virginia Pursell.
She is survived by her sons: David Rogenmoser of Rochester, James (Marlene) Rogenmoser of Shelby, her daughter: Sue Ann (John) Palmer of Middleport, 3 grandchildren: William, Jeremy, Stephen and Barry Rogenmoser, a great-grandson: Thomas Rogenmoser, 2 nieces: Patricia Kane (Gabe) Palmer, Cynthia Ann (Jeffery) Hackett, as well as several great nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends at the Bates, Wallace and Heath Funeral Home, 38 State Street-Middleport, WEDNESDAY from 4-7 p.m. only. Her graveside service will be held THURSDAY 11 a.m. in Hartland Cemetery.
