Men’s Pancake Breakfast
Saturday January 12th 8am – 10:30am
Solid Rock Church will host a fundraising Men’s All You Can
Eat Pancake Breakfast located at 8590 Rochester Road, Gasport on Rt 31 near
Bolton Rd. Random door prizes will be
given at the event. Special guest speaker Dave Bengyak director of Buffalo
Adult and Teen Challenge will speak on the substance abuse issues so prevalent
in our communities and the hope and recovery experiences from students within
the Teen Challenge program.
The breakfast is offered with a donation at the door to
benefit the 2019 Annual Salt & Light Festival located on the church grounds
this July 12-13-14th.
Funding from the breakfast will assist with costs associated
for the annual Salt & Light Festival. The 2019 event will focus on local
community youth to confront the hopelessness that leads to addictions and
suicide. Along with the usual Salt &
Light fun family oriented weekend activities, Rock Solid youth group will host its
second year singing competition. “The Voice Box” competition will be the
festivals’ anchor event spotlighting talented vocalists from all over Western
New York competing for cash prizes followed by a concert and special guest
speaker.
