How to help the Seibs

There are two ways you can give help to the Seibs who lost their home in yesterday's fire..

Hartland Bible Church on West Ave. in Gasport will be accepting donations from 9am until 7:30pm today (Wednesday the 29th). They are asking that only gifts of cash and gift cards be given at this time. Should specific needs arise the Church will inform us at that time. Pastor Jon asks that you fervently commit Doug, Lorna, Eliza, Ella and Lucaiah in your prayers!

A charity page has also been set-up online here:

Fire destroys Royalton Home

Such a sad thing to happen to such good people (Doug and Lorna Seib and their kids). Anytime this happens it's horrible, but especially so during the holidays...
On November 28, 2017 at 1404 hours, the Niagara County Dispatch Center received a 911 call from an occupant of 8448 Bunker Hill Road stating that she saw flames in the residence and that alarms were going off. She was instructed that everyone should leave the house immediately.

NCSO units arrived and found the rear of the residence fully engulfed by flames. The reporting person was the only one home at the time and was able to escape to safety with the family dog.

Wolcottsville Fire Company responded to the scene. They were assisted by several Fire Companies which are listed below. The American Red Cross was called to the scene to assist the three adults and two children displaced by the fire. The two story structure and contents are a total loss.

The investigation will be conducted by Niagara County Cause and Origin.

Pistol recert outreach

There is so much confusion about the pistol permit recertification process that the Niagara County Clerk's Office is holding a public meeting in Gasport this Wednesday.  It will be held at 7:00 PM at the Hartland Town Hall on Ridge Road.
