Roy-Hart's growing poverty rate

There's an article about rural schools battling poverty that ran in newspapers across the state. There's a frightening takeaway in that report: Consider this statement about poverty in Gasport and Middleport...."just 15 percent of the students enrolled in the Royalton-Hartland Central School District in Middleport qualified for (free or reduced) lunch programs in the 2006-07 school year, according to state data. By 2014-15, the most recent year for which the statistic was available, the poverty rate there had climbed to 33 percent of the student body."
