Klatt contract renewed
At this past week's school board meeting, the board renewed the contract for Roger Klatt, keeping him as the superintendent for both Roy-Hart and Barker. It's wise to do so --- not only are shared services financially sound, they work, too. Plus, Klatt is the perfect man for the job. I like his vision, results, demeanor and professionalism.

Pack 18 digs out hydrants
Gasport was pounded by 2 feet of snow on Tuesday and Wednesday. Having those days off from school for snow days, the scouts from pack 18 of Gasport remained industrious -- they did their good turn digging out fire hydrants throughout the area!

Roy-Hart cancelled again
Because of the continued power outages throughout the district, and the elementary school being right in the biggest outage, Royalton-Hartland has cancelled all classes for all 3 schools for Friday, March 10th.
TC spaghetti dinner for those battling power outages
Yesterday's brutal winds knocked the Gasport area silly and most of us are still without power and we might stay that way for another day (or more).
Because of that, the good people at Terry's Corners Volunteer Fire Company are opening their doors tonight (Thursday the 9th) to those who are powerless and need a good, hot meal and some great companionship. They will have a FREE spaghetti and meatball dinner starting at 6:00. Bring your chargers. Bring your appetite. And, even bring some cash (the bar will be open).
God bless 'em for doing this after a day and night of VOLUNTEERING and tending to the various downed tree & line calls, directing traffic and pumping basements.
