Farming is, far and away, the most important economic driver of the towns of Royalton and Hartland. Local farms account for the greatest economic output and the greatest amount of employment (other than the school district) while paying the greatest amount of property taxes.
That's why it's a good thing that the school board is at least considering bringing agricultural sciences back to the school district.
