ROY-HART AMONG LEAST-IMPOVERISHED DISTRICTS

The U.S. Census Bureau released new poverty data for Western New York's 98 school districts yesterday. Orchard Park had the lowest poverty rate and Buffalo suffered the highest.

Royalton-Hartland ranks as one of the least impoverished districts in all of Western New York, coming in at 13th place. At Roy-Hart, the youth poverty rate is 9.7%. Of all 1,518 school-aged children, 147 are living in poverty.
