On Sunday, March 29th, the Niagara County Sheriff's Office received a
911 call reporting a house fire at 4803 Gasport Road. Upon arrival,
patrol units observed dark colored smoke and flames on the north west
corner of the house. Gasport Chemical Hose Company, along with Terry's
Corners Fire Company, responded to extinguish the fire. All residents
were able to exit the house safely. A pet was reported trapped in the
house but was eventually rescued by fire personnel.
The estimate of damage is undetermined at this time. The investigation is continuing by the Niagara County Origin and Cause Unit.
