The Medina Journal Register is reporting that the Town of Royalton's budget discussions have progressed to the point that the town board has cancelled its final budget workshop, which had been slated for Wednesday.
The projected tax rate increase is 2.17 percent, meaning property taxes will move from $3.23 per $1,000 to $3.29 per $1,000 of assessed value.
