Earlier this week, Governor Andrew Cuomo unveiled his 2013-2014 state budget. His version -- which will undoubtedly be tweaked by the state legislature -- shows a 4.4% increase in state "aid" to school districts. Roy-Hart is projected to receive an increase slightly lower than the state average. If adopted, the school portion of the state budget will give Roy-Hart $10,096,234 -- a spike of 4.08% versus the current fiscal year.
