SUNY Cortland senior back Liz DeWaters -- a graduate of Royalton-Hartland -- has been selected as as an NCAA Division III third-team All-American by the web site womensfieldhockey.com.
DeWaters started all 17 games for the Red Dragons this fall. She made two defensive saves and played a key role on a defensive unit that allowed only 24 goals and posted seven shutouts. She was also selected compete in the 2012 NFHCA Division III Senior Game and was a first-team All-State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) selection.
Cortland finished the season with a 9-8 record.
