The Hayes residence and a pickup truck were destroyed by fire Wednesday morning at 4632 Dale Road (the Dale Road off of Gasport Road, not the one off of Slayton Settlement Road).
Terry's Corners Fire Company, Gasport Chemical Hose and Wrights Corners volunteer firefighters responded to the blaze.
No one was injured and there was no one home at the time. Cause is unknown.
