A fire around 1am today did an estimated $50,000 damage to a two story home at 8410 Ridge Rd. The homeowner, Angela Hanczarowski, said she thought it started in the chimney as a result of a wood burning stove. Deputies said flames were coming from the West side when they arrived. The Red Cross is assisting three adults and seven children. The blaze was fought by four fire companies.
