HARTLAND BRIDGES TO BE REPAIRED

A $1.22 million contract for the rebuild of two bridges over Johnson Creek is expected to be awarded Tuesday by the Niagara County Legislature. Yarussi Construction was the low bidder for the work on Drum and Seaman roads. The repairs will be fully-funded by stimulus money. The County's application for stimulus funds (March 2009) showed an estimated price tag of $2,073,000 for the project.
