ROY-HART KIDS OUTFIT US MARINES

Today's Lockport Union Sun and Journal features a front page story about Mrs. Rey's class and their efforts in making t-shirts for our military serving overseas.

The article begins as follows...

MIDDLEPORT — A U.S. Marine platoon serving in Iraq knows that a group of Royalton-Hartland students have their back. Because that’s what the T-shirts they received from the kids say.

Students in Deborah Rey’s high school class created T-shirts for the 56 soldiers in MWSS-472, a Marine combat engineer platoon stationed at the Al Asad Air Base. In return, the kids received an American flag the platoon took with them on a mission, a certificate and thank you cards from the troops.
