Niagara Metals is looking to expand to Gasport, taking over the old LaFarge site on Route 31. But, their plan has been met with some resistance. For those who insist on thinking that they'll be a bad neighbor, take note that the Niagara USA Chamber of Commerce announced that Niagara Metals has won their Business of the Year Award saying they are "a company who is innovative and committed to their industry and business community".
