ON MORBID CURIOSITY

Regarding the aforementioned accident...

It was one of the more horrific accidents in recent memory for Gasport.

Suprisingly, passer-bys and locals felt compelled to see the carnage.

When listening to the police scanner I heard firemen in the background having to yell at and push away gawkers. Things got so bad that medical and fire personnel had to put up tarps to fashion a wall closing-off the area because there were so many onlookers, even some who had camera in hand.

That's exteremely disapponting. A man's life was taken and some folks found morbid enjoyment in seeing the carnage. It's a sad commentary on the state of humanity....and not something I would have expected in Gasport.
