THINGS TO DO IN GASPORT THIS MAY

May 1st: Erie Canal opens for the season

May 2nd: Annual Gasport Cleanup, sponsored by the Gasport Beautification Committee. Meet at the Zion Lutheran Church at 9 AM. Bring work gloves, shovels, trowels, rakes and anything you think you may need to beautify Gasport. Wheelbarrows are helpful for wheeling the trash around.

May 3rd: Ham dinner, sponsored by the Hartland Historical Society, 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM, at the Cobblestone School House (Carmen & Seaman Roads). Cost is $7/adults, $3.50 for kids 8 and under.

May 9th and 10th: Niagara Wine Trail event at Vizcarra Vineyards. Celebrate spring with Mom on the Niagara Wine Trail. Your $20 ticket includes a wine tasting at each winery, a commemorative wine glass and a different special potted herb plant at each winery on the trail. May 10th: Mothers Day Chicken Barbecue at Terry's Corners Volunteer Fire Department, 11:00 AM until sold out. $8 will buy you half a chicken, cole slaw, baked beans, salt potatoes, and dinner roll. Eat in or take out

May 18th: Card Party, hosted by Gasport Chemical Hose Ladies Auxiliary. 7:00 PM. Admission is $5. Event includes a chinese auction, 50/50 spiti, and food
