GASPORT'S NEWEST EAGLE SCOUT

Saturday will be a big moment in the history of Boy Scout Troop 18 and the life of one of its scouts. Roy-Hart senior Patrick Augustyn will officially become the 37th Eagle Scout in the 61 year history of the troop in a ceremony recognizing his acheivement at 3:00 PM at the Covenant United Chucrh on Main Street.

The community is welcome to attend this event and recognize this rare achievement....less than 4% of all scouts earn the coveted Eagle Award.

The highlight of a scout's path to Eagle is his community service project. For his project Patrick and his crew of scouts and adults built railings on the footpath at Royaltine Ravine Park in Gasport.
