ROY-HART GETS MORE STATE AID

According to Governor Andrew Cuomo’s proposed budget, Roy-Hart was slated to receive $11.2 million in state aid this year. Things changed with the actual budget, though.

The state Legislature and the Governor released details today on the budget. Lawmakers added $200 million to the final school-aid formula, removing most of the $250 million that Gov. Cuomo sought to make available to districts through competitive grants.

How did Roy-Hart fare?

According to Assembly reports, the District will now be receiving just under $11.5 million in state aid.
