Town of Hartland update

Town of Hartland Supervisors update:

April 11, 2020

Dear Hartland residents.

I want to take this opportunity to wish everyone a Happy Easter, although we are confined to our homes, we can still attend services by electronic means. In times of trouble we rely on faith to sustain us. As we take time to pray for our nation and those that are sick or in harm’s way let us also remember the true meaning of Easter, Jesus Christs sacrifice for us.

We want to remember and thank all those who are working to provide essential services. From the healthcare providers to store employees, delivery personnel law enforcement, fire and EMS providers. Our town, county, state and federal employees and volunteers are providing essential services.

In Hartland we will continue to have town hall employees work from home through the remainder of April to comply with the Governors work force reduction order. If you need assistance please call 735-7179 and use our menu to select a department, leave a message and someone will return your call.

Our highway and water departments are operating with a reduced staff and are providing basic and emergency services. The safety of our residents and our employees is a top priority. We need to continue the social distancing to limit exposure.

Dog licenses due are postponed until May 1,with no penalty, please make sure shots are up to date. Water bills will also be delayed in being sent out. A new board meeting date will be announced later on this the month. Please continue the social distancing and stay safe.
