The town of Royalton will be holding a public hearing on Monday, May 8 at 7:00 PM at the town hall at which they will consider a variety of local laws:
One law will concern the amendment of the town code regarding dogs by adding sections that deal with licensing, neutering, and penalties associated with licensing.
Two laws will concern the regulation of solar energy systems and wind energy systems, deleting the existing standards for alternate energy systems.
The fourth law will see the water billing cycle change from four times a year to three.
Copies of the new laws are available at the Town Clerk's office and can be viewed during regular business hours.
