The next meeting of the Royalton Hartland Book Club
is the perfect time for anyone interested in becoming a member to come
and learn more about the group. On Monday, June 27 at 6:30 p.m. Book
Club members will be watching the movie “This is Where I Leave You”, the
movie based on the bestselling book of the same title by Jonathan
Tropper.
Last month,
the Book Club read and discussed Tropper’s book, which is about four
grown siblings who return to their childhood home after the death of
their father. Amid the recollections of their past personal histories
and failures, they reconnect in both funny and emotional ways. The 2014
movie of this comedy-drama story that features Tina Fey, Jason Bateman
and Jane Fonda will be shown in the upstairs meeting room at the
library.
Anyone
interested is invited to join the Book Club at their upcoming June 27
meeting to watch the movie and enjoy popcorn and other movie snacks.
At
the group’s regular monthly meetings, members choose the book that they
will discuss at the following meeting and a wide variety of genres are
always considered.
