Now the New York State Department of Transportation is saying that the estimated date of completion of painting of the lift bridge in Gasport has been extended. We were supposed to see the bridge open to traffic on April 30th but completion is now being pegged from anywhere between May 1st to May 29th (yes, that's a wide range), with it being more likely towards the second half of May.
