Avid readers are hereby given notice of the
upcoming Used Book Sale at the Royalton Hartland Community Library, 9
Vernon Street in Middleport, on Saturday, May 24 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Readers can stock up on hardcover books for $1, large paperback books
at $ .50 and small paperbacks and children’s books for only $ .25.
The
Used Book Sale is followed by the popular $2 a Bag Book Sale that will
take place Monday, May 26. Books that have been donated will be
available for an amazing $2 bag from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The
library’s book sales are a great opportunity for readers to get some
good reads at great prices. These book sales, sponsored by the Friends
of the Library, are held twice a year at the Royalton Hartland Community
Library.
The sales
feature books for all ages as well as a limited number of previously
used games and puzzles. Most of these items sold during these book sales
are donated by residents for someone else to read and enjoy along with a
small number of outdated or discarded materials from the library’s
shelves.
A number of
themed gift baskets are on display at the library. Raffle tickets for
the baskets can be purchased for $1 each or 6 for $5 at the library. The
baskets will be raffled off by the Friends of the Library Monday, May
26 at 2 p.m.
