The Hartland Town Board is proposing a 6 cent tax rate hike
when it presents its preliminary $3 million budget for 2013 during a
public hearing planned for 7:30 p.m. today.
The hearing is set for Town Hall, 8942 Ridge Road, and will be followed by a regular meeting.
The 6 cent increase in the rate per $1,000 assessed value would raise the tax rate from $2.41 to $2.47, according to Town Supervisor William R. Annable.
