Tops Friendly Markets launched a new school fundraising program that
allows BonusCard users to rebate a portion of certain
purchases to the schools of their choice.
Shoppers can sign up for the Tops in Education program at www.TopsMarkets.com/Education and link their card to the school district. When doing so, you will need to enter the numbers that are both inside and outside the bar code on the back of your card. To find Roy-Hart in the database you cannot use Gaport's zip code, you must use Middleport's 14105.
When you buy Tops, Full Circle or TopCare products, Tops will automatically put 1 percent of the purchase price to Roy-Hart's account. Money will accumulate through April 30, then be distributed to schools at the end of the school year.
Tops will cap the total amount donated through the program at $300,000 throughout its entire market area....so that means sign-up now before other school districts join in.
