Notice of Public Hearing
Town of Hartland
Please take notice that a Public Hearing will be held by the Town Board of the Town of Hartland on the 13th day of September, 2012, at 7:30 p.m., at the Town Hall, 8942 Ridge Road, Gasport, New York, on the adoption of a proposed local law entitled, ' 'A Local Law to Override the Tax Levy Limit Established by General Municipal Law ? 3-c, ' ' an abstract of which is as follows: Said Local Law will allow the Town of Hartland to adopt a budget for the fiscal year commencing January 1, 2013, that requires a real property tax levy in excess of the limit specified in General Municipal Law 3-c.
The complete text of said law is on file at the Office of the Town Clerk, and is available for review by any interested person during business hours. At such public hearing, all persons interested, who wish to be heard, will be heard.
