BUDGET PASSES, LIBRARY STAYS FUNDED

Yesterday, Royalton-Hartland voters approved, by a tally of 867 to 348, the district’s $22 million budget which will see the tax levy rise by 2%.

The Lockport Union Sun and Journal says this about the library tax...

Residents voted Tuesday to defeat the library levy de-funding proposition by an 840-to-401 margin. The levy, originally approved in a June vote last year, will require $103,000 from the Roy-Hart district taxpayers.
