The activist efforts of Mary Cedeno, Judy Hill and others paid off as the school board voted 5-2 to accept their petition to put on the May 15th ballot a proposition to reduce the Royalton-Hartland Free Library (Middleport Free Library) levy to $0 from its current $103,000 level, affording all district residents the chance to participate in an informed and accessible vote as to whether funding of the library should be the responsibility of the entire district.
