Vito J. Peritore, 56, of Countyline Road, was charged by Niagara County sheriff’s deputies with driving while intoxicated, failure to stop for a stop sign and speed not reasonable and prudent. He told deputies that he was unsure what happened and was transported to Medina Hospital to be evaluated, according to a sheriff’s report.
