Niagara County Sheriff Deputies say a 20 year old male was riding his ATV on the trails of Royalton Ravine Park and lost control. He and the vehicle went down an embankment.
The male (who wasn't wearing a helmet) suffered a head injury and was taken by Mercy Flight to ECMC. There is no update on his condition as of yet.
While EMTs from Tri-Town Ambulance tended to him, firefighters from the Gasport and Terry's Corners helped remove the victim from the ravine where he was taken to a landing zone for Mercy Flight.
The man's name is not being released at this time.
