BENEFIT FOR PAYSON BREA HAMILTON

In June 2010, Payson Brea Hamilton, the daughter of Marla Samanka and Clyde Hamilton was diagnosed with Spinal Muscular Atrophy type 1, at the age of six months. Payson Brea had a half sister Baylee Morgan Samanka that passed away December 23, 1999 at the age of three years old also from SMA.

This devastating disease is a genetic motor neuron disease affecting the voluntary muscles. She will never be able to sit up, crawl, walk, or even hold her head up. Payson already has lost the ability to swallow and feed and eats through a G tube through her stomach. Her life expectancy is 2 years old.

However with your help, they hope to make Payson as comfortable as possible and get her into clinical trials as well as pay medical expenses.

There will be a benefit for Payson at the Hartland Fire Company, Sunday, November 7th, from 1 – 7 pm. Cost is $15.00 per person. Children 10 & under free. Food, pop, and beer will be provided.

They will be holding a Chinese auction. Music entertainment by Dj mic & DJ Avalanche. There will be face painting & kids fun, too.
