Here's the Lockport Journal's update on the situation:

A child struck by a car while riding his bike is in critical condition after an accident about 3 p.m. Tuesday, according to state police reports. The 11-year old boy, whose name was not released, was riding his bike south on Cottage Road when he attempted to cross over Chestnut Ridge Road and was struck, according to reports. Police said the boy crossed into the path of a Nissan Maxima driven by Karita Cumberland, 19, of Gasport. Cumberland was not injured, according to reports.

Witnesses reportedly said the child was bleeding from the head and was lying on the ground, not moving.
