Board meeting to be held right after the public hearing. I encourage all parents to come to the meeting.

Interesting situation happening in the district. CLASS SIZES!!!!

Congratulations to Mr. Fisgus our new middle school principal for stepping up and taking care of fifth grade class size. New teacher to be in place before this week is over.

Mr. Auer the elementary principal has some explaining to do. One kindegarten teacher has 25 students and the others have 23 to 24. First grade classes have 24 to 25. He does not seem concerned over this. My fifth grader had 26 students in her class and I am predicting with the hiring of a new teacher she will have 21. It does not make sense that the primary grades are losing out. These are the years where the fundamentals of reading and math are taught they will suffer later if not taken care of now.

Mr. Auer & Mr. Bona what is going on here? A teacher aid in a Kindergarten class for an hour does not take care of the problem.

At summer board meetings Bona told me we were a poor district, implying we didn't have the money for any more teachers. At the first August meeting he asked my husband "Where do you propose we get the money". It is interesting how the middle school is taken care of.

We need the public input come out to the meeting. If you care about the future of our district and your childs education, you will stop making excuses and make yourself heard. The parents need to come together.

Dear Anonymus above,
I am an eight grade student at the middle school. You say that the middle school is taken care of. Not to sound rude, but that statement is not completely correct. Yes, the fifth grade has a nem teacher. But my Spanish class now has 27 students. One full class period's worth of students are spread out between 4 already full class. My Earth Science class has 34 students. So I believe that the Middle school is NOT TAKEN CARE OF!!!!
