Last year, Chris Kelley started an endeavor to restore and recreate tractors, engines and sprayers that were manufactured by Friend Mfg. Co., which once was a very large manufacturer in Gasport.
In celebration of Friend and other antique farm equipment, Chris and Becker Farms are hosting the second annual Friend Fest on August 10th, in conjunction with Becker's 120th anniversary celebration.
Among the highlights is an antique tractor ride that will lead a procession of tractors from Becker Farms to Gasport View Dairy on Mountain Road and back.
